The Lagos State Government has partnered with Caverton Marine to boost local boat manufacturing and save capital flight by 70 per cent.
The General Manager of LASWA, Mr Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, disclosed this on Wednesday during a facility tour of Caverton Marine Boatyard by both the management of Caverton and the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation.

He lamented the high cost of boat importation.
The LASWA boss stressed the importance of local boat production, especially given the rising costs of imports and exports.
